Welcome to World Leadership Day Australia

World Leadership Day celebrates and promotes Authentic Leadership around the world, on or around March 20th of each year. It is a day where we literally put the flood lights on grass-roots leadership. All ages, genders and cultures come together to engage in leadership dialogue and learn with and from each other. Combined with great food and beautiful surroundings - it is a day to remember.

Each year World Leadership Day Ambassadors develop a theme that becomes the focus of our World Leadership Day events and article contributions to our yearly WLD eBook publication. The theme for 2012 is 'Activating Global Leadership'.

World Leadership Day 2012 has a strong focus on Youth to recognise them as our leaders of today and tomorrow.

Mayor Anne Jones will launch the World Leadership Day Awards - Youth Leaders (12-20) and Young Leaders (<12). Nominations for the Youth Leader and Young Leader Awards are invited. Entry forms are available in every edition of the Wellington Times up to close of Nomination on Thursday 8th March 2012. The Awards will be awarded to recipients with the highest number of nomination and leadership qualities.
